The story revolved around the protagonist Kakul who is the younger daughter of a Bihari politician Om Shankar. She attends her friend’s wedding in Mumbai where she meets a Mumbaiite Sammaan, the son of an affluent businessman Amarnath Chowdhary. Sammaan flirts incorrigibly with Kakul at the wedding. Kakul, a simple girl at heart, is attracted to Sammaan and falls for his charms not realizing that Sammaan is merely indulging in idle flirtation to pass the time pleasantly in the company of a good-looking young girl.

According to our well-placed source, “This will be a college-based theme which will go on to be a cursed love story. The serial will be a daily from Monday to Friday, but the time slot has not been finalized yet”. Speaking on the star cast, our source informs us “The cast includes a bunch of youngsters – Priyamvada Sawant who was earlier seen in Meri Doli Tere Angna, Romanchak, Mahi Vij the girl in DJ Akhil’s music video ‘Tu Hai Wohi’ and a newcomer Kaushik”.

Saas v/s Bahu is a dance competition between the Saas’s (mother-in-law’s) and the Bahu’s (daughter-in-law’s) from some of the most popular Indian television series on different channels. The show is hosted by a television actor Karan Mehra. The ’saas’ and ‘bahus’ will be scored a number out of 10 by the judges, Aruna Irani & Longinus Fernandes ((Longie). Each week there will be a total of six contestants (3 Saas’s & 3 Bahu’s) who will be competing with each other.
